Olivia Slayden

Olivia Slayden co-founded Microverse Studios in 2005 and leads the company’s commercial strategy, marketing, and brand positioning. With a background in federal contracting and procurement, she built expertise in regulatory compliance and financial operations before transitioning to the world of scientific communications and entrepreneurship.
Prior to Microverse Studios, Olivia participated in a competitive federal acquisition internship program supporting multiple U.S. agencies, including the Department of State, Environmental Protection Agency, National Institutes of Health, and the Executive Office of the President. There, she managed and competed large federal contracts and learned to navigate high-stakes regulatory and administrative environments—experience she now applies to Microverse Studios’ compliance, finance coordination, and operational leadership.
In addition to core business operations, Olivia oversees demand generation (SEO and digital marketing) and brand strategy, shaping how the market sees and discovers the studio. She holds a degree in psychology and brings a human-centered, analytical approach to leadership.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys creative writing, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
